  Tuesday, June 11, 2024 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM

16821 O'Brien Trail North, Marine on St. Croix, MN 55047

The Hallberg Center for the Arts alongside the Initiative Foundation, is excited to offer Free Art classes for Seniors who live in independent living programs within Washington and Chisago counties.

We will transport people from their homes, to William O’Brien State Park, where people can participate in an art project and creative programming, while being surrounded by nature.

This month we are painting a jar of flowers with acrylic paint.

Space is limited, call the Art Center to register, or with any questions: 651-272-5122

Information: William O'Brien state park has a comfortable indoor pavilion with table and chairs. It is accessed by the sidewalk and is near the parking lot. The space has indoor bathrooms and running water. We will have a beautiful view of the park while we create! Each month we will create a different project, ranging from watercolor painting, acrylic painting, chalk pastel, cyanotype, and decorating birdhouses. We want to encourage people to try new mediums, and enjoy the process!
